The state of Texas tops the US both in sheer numbers and percentage of residents uninsured for health care. Stacey has been analyzing Texas health issues for more than a decade. She and her colleagues at Every Texan are part of the grass roots effort #SickOfItTX which aims to improve the state’s health care environment. We also have our regular guest Jim Harrington, founder of the Texas Civil Rights Project, along with KOOP’s Michelle Manning-Scott.
