Civil Rights and Wrongs for May 12, 2020

Our guests include Chas Moore, Executive Director of the Austin Justice Coalition.  AJC is a grassroots, activist-led organization aimed at demanding criminal justice reform and building community at the local, state, and national levels. We also have Chris Harris, law enforcement data analyst, community activist, and long-time KOOP volunteer.  We discuss the notion of "public safety" in light of the recent killing of Michael Ramos by APD.  Jim Harrington, retired founder of the Texas Civil Rights Project, is also with us, along with Michelle Manning-Scott, associate producer of this show.
